About us

Mei Zhi Jia is a guardian of China’s intangible textile heritage.

We work with a curated collection of time-honored fabrics—Song brocade, Shu brocade, Xiangyunsha, aged satin, Luo silk—each woven on traditional looms using techniques passed down for centuries. From garments to hair accessories, bags, and shoes, every piece is hand-finished by master artisans: hand-embroidered motifs in Suzhou style or French stitch, hand-knotted frog buttons, and hand-cut patterns that honor a "one piece, one cut" philosophy.

We believe heritage is not meant to be locked in museums. It belongs in the way you dress, the way you move, the way you carry yourself in the world. That’s why our designs are quietly modern—minimalist silhouettes that let the fabric and craftsmanship speak. Whether it’s a Song brocade jacket for a special occasion or a Shu brocade hairpin for a quiet afternoon, each piece is made to be worn, loved, and passed on.

Welcome to Mei Zhi Jia. Wear the story. Live the craft.
